w/c do you prefer to play?

online games or offline games?

I actually prefer online games. It gives me the sense that I'm not playing with a computer, but with actual intelligent (sometimes ) people.

lol, yeah, sometimes people can be pretty stupid. I prefer games with both modes. Like LOG said, it's fun to be with others, but I say that it can sometimes ruin the fun.
Wizard: The world will be destroyed if you do not stop him. Go to the tower of Engarna and slay the dragon to obtain the blade of the gods.
You: K, sure
*5 hours later*
You: Where's the dragon?
Guy: I just beat him.
*dragon comes back to life*
You: HE'S BACK!
Guy: Not for me
*battle with dragon*
*goes to blade of the gods*
You: Hey, where'd you get that?
Guy with sword: Over there, wait for it to respawn
*You enter line*

^Things like that take away from the experience. Sure, if there's instances for important stuff, than the game succeeds, but in others like Runescape...

True. A mixture of both can work, and from the scenario you provided, things that don't make sense can always happen. Like a dragon respawning after a certain amount of time so another player can complete the quest. If you ask me, I say leave quests to offline games, and clan fighting, skills, etc to online games.

I like offline games. That way no noobs come up to me asking for money.

Or alts. Seriously, you can get some easy gold through lvl. 1 Ironforge begging as an alt in WoW.

Try doing that on RS. You'd get banned in two minutes.

RS files are free, so it doesn't matter (unless they IP ban you). Also, other than the tutorial, you start out at THE biggest city in the game, and no need to check to see what faction has the most members at the moment, so shouldn't it be even more successful?

I prefer online games as the is often more of a change and more to do with others, otherwise gets a bit lonely, also more of a challenge and you fell better if you triumph over a human rather than a computer
